Looking for the best of the best for your gel blaster? Why not consider going to an HPA system but first what is an HPA system? Unlike most electronic gel blasters that feature a battery system powering a motor that in turn rotates three gears to pull a piston back and compress air in a cylinder, HPA gel blasters are powered by an external canister of pressurized air much like most paintball guns. These large, external canisters provide HPA guns quite a bit more power than traditional electronic gel blasters as well as CO2 & Green gas-powered gel blasters, allowing for faster rates of fire and higher FPS. While this may seem to make HPA gel blasters the clear choice for anyone who wants to be as competitive as possible on the field, there are a number of factors to consider for making your HPA powered gel blasters. For now, just understand that an HPA gel blaster is a gel blaster that is traditionally powered by an external canister of pressurized air as opposed to an internal canister of C02 or green gas or the piston and gear system of an electronically powered gel blaster.

Automatic electric gel blasters and HPA gel blasters both work by using pressurized air to accelerate gel balls out of the gel blasters. In electronic gel blasters, this pressurized air is created within the gel blaster before each shot via a mechanical system that is powered by batteries. In an HPA gel blaster, pressurized air is stored in an external canister (Tank) and delivered to the gel blaster with each pull of the trigger rather than relying on a mechanical process to create pressurized air within the gel blaster itself.

The Polarstar F2™ features, the dual solenoid design of the F2™ provides the same functionality as the legendary Fusion Engine but in a more compact, efficient, and flexible design. Dual solenoids allow for the nozzle and the poppet valve to be adjusted independently of each other for unparalleled control over both the loading time and air volume used.

The F2™ incorporates a new one-piece, lightweight poppet valve design yet still operates on the same principle as the Fusion Engine™ poppet. This valve is able to operate at lower pressures and uses less air volume to function which optimizes air efficiency.

A robust design allows for an operating pressure range of 45psi to 145psi which enables the F2™ to achieve velocities from CQB to DMR while employing only one nozzle for the entire velocity adjustment range.

Additionally, its nozzle is spring biased forward which provides a consistent loading force regardless of operating pressure. It shares the same spring as the Fusion Engine™ with both light and heavy spring options available to adjust the loading force.
